Its a matter of "is this only during games or on other occasions as well". If there is a bigger picture then it may be a serious problem.

100% is an addiction. If the game is paused for a minute then say what you were going to say. But if he's in the middle of a shootout and you come asking him a question and he gets killed its gonna set him off. When he's not playing games you should talk to him about it.
