My country has mass amounts of beautiful untouched land, and a healthy relationship with our nomadic peoples. Thousands of people live the “rough life” and still have access to all of life’s luxuries. And not only here, but I’ve been to a couple Asian countries that do this very very well.
The only ones who act like modern stuff is evil are those weird long bearded dudes in the US. “Homesteading” is a popular trend too.
Being able to afford to homestead feels like luxury to me! Winning the lottery would just mean I would get to put my efforts elsewhere
I wish I could put all my days work into my land but that doesn’t pay the bills lol

Yeah, homesteading doesn't appeal to me. I want to win the lottery, and then live in luxury.
