Huge fake nail obsession - normal?

It's funny you should mention that because I always wondered if guys gave a shit about those fake nails. Girls spend all this money on them and it seems to me that they go unnoticed. I'm a female and I think they're cute but I've bitten them off before (they're quite annoying). I bet there's a website devoted to fake nails fetish. As long as it's not hurting anyone, there can't be anything wrong with it.

Now if it was toenails, that would be weird. Nothing weird about fake fingernail fantasies. Why do you think they sell so many?

I have had a long nail fetish for years. I am very particular as to what I like. Nail length should be about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch and no longer. Color does not matter much. But I just love watching the way they do things and the way they have trouble with other tasks that make it difficult because of their nails. It's best when they get their first set and are not used to them.

I've had a long nail fetish for years, real or, if done well and don't look terrible, fake nails. I'll often talk to a woman with well-manicured acrylic or gel nails, compliment her, and, feel each one. Women love the attention. Last week, in fact, new server woman at sports bar I go to started chatting with me, and, I noticed her long (especially for working there), purple nails. Took her right hand in mine, told her they looked great, felt a few, and she thanked me, saying guys don't notice enough, but, she loves when they do.. Makes her want to use them.

Not with her, yet, anyway, but, I've been known to pay for women's manicures if they keep their nails nice, and, sometimes..The colors I want them.

Not normal! Actually I don't care but I'm feeling argumentative tonight for some reason.

I could see how they appear neat and clean, since they are uniform in length, and have a glossy topcoat. I just think they look outdated.

I have had an obsession with long nails for a long time, and would ask girls out all the time based only on the fact that they had long nails. In college I would always find someone in class that had long nails, and would sit behind them every day so I could watch them take notes. I prefer single color dark nails, but I'm not picky.

One time I asked out a girl that I thought was really cute who had long nails, and when I showed up for our date found out that she had removed them. We still went out that night, but I didn't think she was all that cute any more, and I never asked her out again.

Fake nails are the only way to go for me, because it is the only way to get consistent length and curvature. They also allow the woman to not have to worry so much about breaking or chipping a nail, and she can remove them or put them back on any time she wants. A woman with nicely manicured long nails is telling the world that she is confident, a little playful, and that good grooming is important to her. Those are great qualities to look for!

Single color, preferrably dark, or with no polish at all. Fake nails are a no-no.

I love long nails but fake ones can cause nail fungus and even infections. My nails are thick and look pretty fake anyways so I usually stay away from the fake ones since there is nothing sexy about fungus!
