The “normal” thought process of the average American is the supposed “liberal” view that OP is so concerned about. The average American doesn’t see anything wrong with being trans and they don’t think they should be discriminated against. That’s the vast majority of Americans, including most republicans.
If a person is trans, they should feel comfortable coming out as trans. Making them uncomfortable with it because their bigot families don’t want a trans family member doesn’t actually stop them from being trans, it just makes them more likely to kill themselves.
I think you missed a word in that last sentence, but yes, teaching children to not be racist is the “social justicy” thing to do. Because being racist is bad and we should stop teaching children to be racist, which conservatives have been doing for decades.
