That is not in places with child labor laws like the US for example. In the US they place a lot of restrictions on people getting work below the age of 18. In the Us you can only get a age 16. For people under 18 to do so you need a work permit.
Most of the time you are forced to get a permit from the schools. Which often the school restrict to students who have A and B grades. Which I personally think does not make any sense since students with A and B grade probably need it a lot less than C, D, F students who are more likely to not make it to college, or wont be able to afford it since all the scholarship/grant money will go to the B,A students.
I personally can only get 3200$ for school and our colleges cost thousands. I was told in HS that jobs were evil and none of us should get one and all should go to college. I dont make enough for college and at 18 I was kicked out of my parents and did not have a job.
