If you guys have that love and mutual respect for each other than there is no need to give her everything because I can't respect a woman that needs or wants to be given everything. If she can't make herself happy and doesn't have enough fulfillment in her life to do that, then there is nothing I can do for her.
I can give what I have to offer. I can be there when you need me. But if you can't live your own life and make your own decisions without the constant aid of your significant other, then we probably wouldn't get along to begin with. I'm pretty independent myself, people who can't make their own decisions or find their own happiness perplex me because I have a hard time sympathizing with them =/
