I would make a printout of proper dinner etiquette (find it at the Emily Post Institute Online), seal it in a lovely little envelope, and include with it a hand-written note thanking them for being honest and expressing that their lack of grace was not flattering. Then, mail it out. They'll get the hint AND you can be cordial about it!
Either that, or brush it off and don't ever invite them for a meal again. :)
