  • This is a shame, really. I wish people would talk like that more, it would make the world so much more fun!
Talking, arguing, deliberating: having simple discussions is, for me, one of the few free pleasures I have in life.
I really would love it if people were to start talking about random things, controversial topics in public, it would lighten up my day!
I'd really love one day to open a simple "salon" like we had in my country; places to get a cup of coffee or tea and discuss philosophical, cultural or even politic matters around a nice drink and just spend the day or the evening that way.

    • I know people who do this. There is a park near me where people gather once a week to discuss a variety of social issues. They bring food and share a meal as well as ideas. It's fun.

      • We are not able to do that here. If you do that here you get threatened to be harmed in some manner or arrested. They think we are free but we will never be. Oh I love elections. They bring out the shining best in people.

        • Shame that they're all anti-gay and shit in Brittain.

There are these schools, Catholic schools, and the goverment of the UK allows them to kick off kids for being homosexual, which I find discriminative and redicilous.

          • Sucks, but if it's a Catholic school, my guess is that it's private.
As long as they own it, not much you can do.
