I see. I don't really get how real love is any better though, when you can never meet every person in the world, what if there is someone better out there than the person you're in a serious relationship with? Isn't it possible that you'd always be at least 2nd best to a real person somewhere in the world, which you or your s/o may or may not ever meet?
But in this case you have already found that type of person, so the chances of that person you are with being the one you will love more are already shown not to be the case.
I don't really understand what you mean by this, but I have another hypothetical scenario: What if you are the closest person that exists in reality to this character, and there is no chance of finding someone "better" or more similar than you, just as there would be no chance when it comes to real love vs. similar people in existence? You are pretty much equal to the character, except you have the bonus of being real.
Also, I hope you didn't think I was actually in a relationship. I never have been. When I said guys that liked me, I mean just that, whom I considered merely for the reason that I want to be "normal" and live in reality rather than fantasy (I did love them, but no one in reality has ever come close to the feelings for fictional characters).
How would you feel if your s/o had a crush on a fictional character?
