Everyone's got their own interpretation of ugly. For me it's someone who makes no effort to take care of themselves inside and outside as in morbidly obese, unhygenic, smelly, lazy, blames everyone and everything for their problems except themselves, and are quick to act like a victim in the most stupid situations.
If you want a partner, you're going to have to put a lot of effort in. The right one isn't going to pop up. Go out and talk to some or message some on a dating site. Sure, you'll have to deal with a lot of crappy people, but you'll eventually find someone.
