Great to see all of your comments!! A number of you - men mentioned that you wear slippers at home and some even wear slippers around town, not just at home.
Having been raised in the Northeast, guys wearing slippers wore slippers often. Sadly not many anymore
I have leather slippers at work... and of course at home... and wear slippers "around town", well anywhere. Surprisingly, it seems that many young guys - even of teen ages - seem to wear them ...and men of all ages are also. Have any of you seen this to be so?
ALSO... Do any of you prefer certain styles of slippers?
I prefer the brand church slippers and in particular the jason range or the air travel range...i like the full leather variety especially when totally broken in and you get the leather creases that give the worn in look...i just cannot decide if i prefer the black, maroon, brown or blue so i had to buy all the colours lol....
I'd love to meet you, and I suspect you'd enjoy meeting me. My own preference is leather scuffs. I have several pair at home and offer them to my male guests (who I do ask that they remove their shoes when visiting). I also wear mine out when I'm headed to someplace nearby. As I don't work in an office, I can't say I wear slippers in the office, unless you count home as the office.
It seems to me younger folk aren't familiar with classic leather slippers (opera or scuff), but there are a few. A friend of mine says he enjoys putting slippers on when he visits me, as it reminds him of custom in Spain.
How unusual is it to have a house slipper fetish?

I have some fur scuff slippers in my collection. I prefer ones that are fur or fur lined.
I like them all, but especially the old fashioned twin gusset, rubber soled style. The Yellow rubber soles are my favourite part of the slipper.

Yes. I prefer ones that are either fur or are fur lined.
