First of all, 24 is young. You have loads of time to find Mr. Right and be fall crazy in love. Secondly, playing head games like: He'll realize what he gave up and come back or I just need to wait for him, etc. will only drive you insane.
I read it takes the typical person 18 months to get over someone. It's been longer than that for me in the past and I know people who are still in love with people that their relationships ended years ago.
There's no magic trick but you just gotta get up each day and do whatever it takes. Just don't live in the past. It's not heathly and will only take you down.
