we were in love but my feelings got corrupted. i am sorry. but everyday i cry more with guilt i need to get out of this
Ya, if u are guilty u aren't able to be the best version of yourself for others. If its too difficult to forgive yourself for your benefit, do it for the people around you.
What Ray said. You'll keep feeling that way otherwise. And also, make it clear you're extremely upset with what happened and that you wish it wasn't so. If the loved one can understand that they won't allow you to go through this time alone even if they know you're guilty
Write the most sincere, concise and simple apology letter you can. It should be no longer than a few sentences. Do not ask for forgiveness, nor ask for reconciliation. Simply apologize for your actions or lack thereof, and express how sorry you are, then leave it at that.
If you feel so inclined mail it to the person you hurt via certified letter, but make no other attempts at contact. Do not send anything if you've been served with a restraining order on behalf of this person.
If for any reason you can't or don't want to go through with sending the above apology then please feel free to write as long and detailed a letter of apology as you wish, but do not send it. Instead pray and meditate asking for God to heal and comfort the other person and forgive you of whatever sins you may have committed. When you feel you've adequately gotten all of this out of you system then simply burn the letter, bury the ashes, plant some flowers on top of those ashes and try not to think of it anymore.
