Me too, but I convert because people are used to what they are used to. I once got laughed at by referring to weight in stones and someone thought I was Fred Flintstone.
Ya i live in the USA and I mostly use metric even in every day conversation in confuses the heck out of mostly all people but it makes way more since to me

25.4 is all anyone really needs to remember, 25.4mm/inch.
