No one said that because I haven't personally experienced it, it's impossible. What I said is I haven't heard of any documented successes.
Every success usually had SOME type of help along the way (books, people around them, something). I know depression is a completely draining disease so it's pretty hard for me to imagine someone suffering from it combating it alone.
I guess your definition of help is broader than what I was thinking. That makes more sense when you include books and whatnot so I s'pose I'd agree with you. I thought you meant more like professional help and talking to someone in person.
And yea depression is a bitch, completely alone without internet or anything would be pretty tough.
How so one combats depression without anyone knowing it?
