People can't judge their own intelligence, just like they can't diagnose their own mental disorders ect, ect. Because ALL individuals have a completely distorted view of themselves. Even a psychiatrist could not diagnose himself due to a biased perception.
I'm proven (and listed) to be of above average intelligence, but still within the normal range.
My IQ test scores range from 125 (I was ill) to 161 (which I am clearly not). So my IQ is probably somewhere from 130 to 150, which is relatively high. However IQ is what is measured in IQ tests, and people tend not to mean IQ when they refer to intelligence. There are certainly aspects of "intelligence" that I am severely lacking in.
I don't think I've seen this measured in stars before!:) I think I'm the middle. So 2-3 stars.
I don't really believe IQ tests really show the intelligence of a person- or at least it doesn't utilize a people's full potentials.
I don't know I always thought I was a dimwit. I am not sure what the tests scores mean. I never understood how it works.
I just don't think the IQ test really tests people's true intelligence level. Just because someone isn't that good at science, math, or other problem-solving subjects IQ tests provide, it doesn't mean they're stupid. There are many factors that can affect how a person does on the test including their environment, learning challenges, or things like anxiety. Some people are able to work out problem quickly while others need more time- it doesn't mean one is smarter or dumber than the other, it's just how their brain works. The IQ test doesn't take some of these factors into consideration which is why I think it's flawed. And there has to something more than math and science that utilizes a person's intelligence. So, "average" on the IQ may mean that you grew up in a pretty normal environment and that learning challenges or mental disabilities have very little or no affect on you. However, I'm not saying a person isn't as smart (or dumb) as they think they are.
I did not grow up in a normal environment. Well depends what you consider normal. I spent most of my life fighting. I didn’t really get to learn that much in school. I spent most of my time focusing on who was going to fight apposed to what was going on in class. Actually kids would mess with each other in class too so that did not help either.

My intelligence is proficient in many subjects, but it's not up to par with some subjects that are relevant to the present (world news, fluency in multiple languages, and so on). I'm very comfortable with my own intelligence.
I'd take an IQ test, but there's no valid reason to take the time for it. All it does is measure your mental age, and nothing else. This test used to be a preliminary/entrance exam for men who wished to enlist in the army (during the early 20th century). Besides, true intelligence can't be measured. I'm not very fond, nor supportive of a submissive test that tells how you smart or stupid you are. Society has done a good job of distorting the actual purpose of an IQ test.
Oh so many many starz. I walk or fly into walls...and doors more often than i'd like to admit.
I'm very smart so much intelligence nobody can teach me anyway. I'm kind of a big deal.

Anyway, ☆☆☆ with the occasional ability to stretch to ☆☆☆☆
Everyone on IIN always does themselves down when you ask them how intelligent they are.
I think I'm 4.5, which I'll round down to 4.
I was tested to be above average by a professional although I see myself as average.
Generally, based on the way I perceive myself, maybe. 4 or 4.5. That being said there a many different type of intelligence and I'm sure if you asked me how s,art do you think I was at my worst subject like math I'd be at a 1. But yeah it's just a general rating I'd give myself over all
I want to say average, but I don't know. Can a person determine their own intellect or is it something judged by other people? In my opinion, I have this thing about not letting people tell you how you're graded on their "intelligence scale" because it's probably subjective or different from person to person. For example, I know this girl who is kind of "slow" in getting puns and simple jokes, but she's not stupid (though she thinks she is). Or there are people that judge other people's intelligence based on their ability to excel in science or math while others (and me) say that science and math aren't the only things that utilizes a person's mind to the fullest and that a person shouldn't be labeled stupid because they failed Algebra 1 or something. I'm not saying "get off your high horse, you're not a genius, you just find these subjects easier than other average people" if you do excel in these classes- some subjects come naturally to some people than others. You may be a genius, who knows.
For someone grading themselves on their own "intelligence scale," again, I think it may subjective. What someone says about themselves, someone may disagree. You shouldn't have any shame in thinking you are very smart, though. I really don't know how to put this down into words.
tl;dr I guess what I'm trying to say is what you choose is up to you but people may or may not agree. Yet that doesn't make them right or wrong, just think for yourself.

I don't know. I've always been an academic underachiever and have almost failed my final two or three years of school. In fact, I think some of my teachers and headmaster took pity on me because of my special circumstances and the fact that I was well-behaved so they decided to pass me on the grounds of good behaviour.
I've always been told by family members, friends and random online strangers that I'm "intelligent" but I think what they mean is that I'm well spoken and articulate.
I'd like to think that I'm at least creative to make up for being stupid and an academic failure but I can't even draw or write (professionally) or do anything remotely constructive to showcase my "creativity".
So, I may not be mentally handicapped but I'm neither smart nor creative. To top it off, I'm incredibly lazy so there are no redeeming features about me, unfortunately.
I am a genius and have the marks and awards to prove it, but I have the feeling that most other people choosing that option are just narcissistic.
I would say in the middle lol I love science though its my best subject :D
