How reliable to you find the votes on serious polls to be?

On a scale of 1-10 (1 meaning none of the votes are reliable in the least and 10 meaning that every single vote is reliable) how reliable are the votes on polls. By reliable, I mean that if you were to take these polls to the general population, the votes here would match up with the population votes, and that the people who make these polls can trust the votes given to them. Also, I realize the irony of this poll, so I also ask that you give me a comment on why you chose whatever answer you did. The voting options are meant for multiple choice polls only, but you are welcome to comment on the INN reliability % too.

    75-87.5

    There are a few younger people who come on here who aren't 18.

    If you accidentally hit the wrong vote you can't change it. I've done it a few times and so have other people.

    Some people are trolls and like to F with people even if it's on a serious topic.

    I think most people on here are genuine though and will answer truthfully. Even younger people I think have a good understanding of many things...so that's why I chose 75-87.5%.

    Almost COMPLETELY inaccurate!!

    Questions regarding sexual preferences, or appearance and those type of things I can see as being accurate, BUT just ecause that's what a person is attracted to, doesn't mean that's who they actually go out with in real life.

    Questions like 'would you be an assassin' or other shit like that....come on. 2% of the populaation are incarcerated....Obviously no one on here is incarcerated (now anyway, and I haven't come across any response that describws somone's story about how they just got out of the penetentary.

    If the results were accurate, evryone would have a hot girlfriend/boyfriend, make tons of cash and be a criminal mastermind. It's a fucking joke. Send these people to jail for one day and they'd be crying like a little bitch. GMAB. Everyon wants to make oout like they're the shit and they're soo smart and so callus and calculating, in reality they are just average pussies just barely getting by.

    Lol. On a serious note, I think a majority are reliable because its so anonymous that, if they did just choose a random answer, it wouldnt matter because they leave with no recognition.
    Comments in the other hand, are a little less reliable but you notice that a more than half of the people answering are giving their genuine opinion. Excluding the thumbs up seekers and the trolls who just give an off-the-wall answer.
    So I think a little more than half sounds fair.
