I've always wondered why American football and baseball never exported well/caught on outside the states. The world seems to have absorbed just about everything else America puts out minus these two things. I know there are a couple of countries that have adopted these sports but they are a minority I far as I believe.
You are quite right, Brazil is famous for its love of football, but I was thinking more in global terms - baseball and American football aren't very popular outside the US except in a few countries, though the world eats up just about everything else that comes out of the states. Anyone have a theory on that?
How popular is U.S. entertainment in your country?
