These results are great. Everyone is overwhelmingly open minded. That is until you don't agree with their opinion on IIN. Hahaha.
I'm very open to other people's ideas. I'm also very open to mocking people who have stupid ideas. I'm looking at you, religious people.
I'm very open minded. Instead of just trying to listen to other people's point of views, I try to understand them.
I love to listen, understand and learn what others believe! I feel that that is absolutely essential. If you don't bother to listen to people who disagree with you or have different ideas, then you make no progress. Even regarding your "enemy", if you don't understand him, you can't beat him.
I am very open minded as long as women are kept barefoot and pregnant. Never talk back to their men, have diner on the table when I get home and keep my cloths clean and pressed. I'm the most open minded person I know.
I accept all theories on the basis that I shall not ever know until I die. Then all shall be revealed. Or not.. but even then that will be and answer.
I tend to be fairly live-and-let-live, usually willing to meet others where they are. But I wouldn't call myself "open-minded," because so many of the people I've known who congratulate themselves on being "open-minded" or "tolerant" are among the most intolerant, narrow-minded gits I've ever seen. I can be about as open as I need to be without any of that, thank you.
Yes rape is wrong. Taking advantage of children is wrong. Killing a baby since you want to screw 100 guys without a condom is lazy and irresponsible. Going against everything society says does not mean it is right. Alcoholism is not a Desieses. A drug is a drug made in the lab or not. Killing in self defence is a forgivable crime. War is sometimes something that is going to happen no matter what you do. People can not get a long and one group is always going to try and be on top. People are not as civilized as we believe so people will not respect each other differences. Government workers are not the ones who control you. The politicians are the ones controlling what they do.
I think rationality helps keep things in perspective, and perspective allows you to be tolerant and open minded.
I'm 91% open-minded, but my thoughts are locked in, and nobody knows my fantasies. I can easily have a good day despite turbulence.
I'm especially open to other people's religions/philosophies/sciences/logic/scepticism/optimism/pessimism. I see things from a structuralist point of view, and applied it to ethical behaviour: if it's not conventionally accepted by many people it's doesn't work. I applied structuralism also to buildings and politics and art/architecture. And I will never go to phenomenology, plus philosophy is keeping an open mind to intelligence.
I'm open minded enough to turn down those people called the johovana's witnesses. I'm sorry but that 10% of my income is staying where it belongs and that's w/ me! Other than that, I'm pretty open minded to a lot of things.
The Jehovah's Witnesses have to tithe? I had no idea. I knew the Mormons have to. (It's no coincidence that Utah is the state with the most bankruptcies!)
I just studied the JW's even more, and I couldn't find anything that says they have to tithe. I've found mention of them discouraging people going to colleges, forbidding the wearing of crosses, suppression of sexual abuse allegations, rejections of blood transfusions, and lots of failed predictions of the world's demise, but not a word of tithing.
I accept everything and everyone unless I dislike them personally, because then it's personal and not just a case of me accepting something not so "ordinary".
I like to be open minded.
If their ideology is not built upon logic or reason or scientific proof or compassion, I will reject it as not having any validity for me. But, people have the right to worship rocks if they want... I am just not going to be one of their supporters.
I'm not at all open-minded when it comes to ignorant, oppressive, or hateful ideas/opinions.
i dont know how open minded i am, but i tend to open up more to things the more i know about it. As long as you dont hurt people with it, or try to force it on others who dont want to do that thing, its ok with me.
I may not agree with everyone's idealogies, but I try to understand them and I accept them even if I don't necessarily agree with them (so long as it's not something ridiculous like child molestation).
