    • Nope, that's exactly why I am staying. It's not so bad, but it makes me feel like a little kid sometimes. I get the urge to leave the nest.

      • It hard to judge, some people seem ready to do it as soon as they turn 18. And other want to wait till they got a foundation (college, etc). But either way it important to always leave yourself some cushion, so wiggle room. As someone that is currently facing his 2nd spell of unemployment (hopefully shorter and less depressing) I know it be a million times harder If i had a home payment, new car payment, etc

        • I pay for nothing and am very fortunate. No house payment, car payment, cell phone bill, electricity, etc., and while it is VERY nice, I feel like a bum and am very incapable of doing adult things. I don't know how to cash a paycheck, do my taxes, or how to pay a bill so I probably have a very childish view of "reality".

I am looking forward to getting to a place in my life where I am more self sufficient.

            • Yep. The college is in the same town as my parents so I figure I might as well live with them for free.
