I've never dated outside of my age range and never quite got why people do. I'm curious. Do you date older/younger men or women, and if so, what do you like about it?
I'm 26 and would love to get my hands on a fresh little 16 year old, but I'll settle for anyone 30 or lower
I'm 40 but I'm honest enough to admit that just like in that okcupid study I'd date a 21 year old given a chance.
People date outside their age range for the same reason you date within yours.. Because two people like each other. I've various criteria for attraction but closeness in age isn't one of them. I've been out with women 20 years either side of me as well as the same age as me.
When I was a teen, I dated teens and up to 40's (maybe a couple of 50's).
In my 20's I dated teens, 20's & 30's.
In my 30's I dated teens & 20's. (And married a 19 year old.)
In my 40's I dated teens & 20's.
In my 50's I date 20's (maybe a couple of 30's).
I always liked older but only between 2-5 years older than me. My age or younger they always seamed way too immature and any older than my range I thought they would be perverts to like me lol
I used to have an age range, but now that I'm in my mid 40s age isn't an issue anymore. When I was 30 I was with a woman 8 years older.
I'm 43 and I honestly can't tell what age anyone is anymore. I seriously can not guess to within 10 years unless they are really young. If I had to find a woman within 2-3 years either side of my age I wouldn't have a hope in shit.
I'm 23 and I was dating someone who was 30, until recently. There's always that "8 year rule" thing, but if you really and truly love someone age shouldn't matter (you know as long as the ape gap isn't absurd.)
I date someone based off personality and if they have the same likes as me. Looks aren't everything, but let's be honest it's an added bonus. I'm pansexual, so I'll date whoever. I mostly prefer older wo/men, however.
I'm 28 and I'm dating someone who is 27. I have no interest in people who are like 10 years younger or older.
My dating days are far behind me, but I always dated women within a few years of my own age.
I'm 54 and my S/O (we've been together many years) is about to turn 52.
