I hate it when my hair is greasy or too flat and find that when it's just washed and shiny someone invariably tells me how well I look. I sometimes resort to wearing a hat if I feel it looks too stringy.
May I ask what shampoo you use? I'm trying tea-tree oil shampoo at the moment, and...hmm it's ok. Beats head n shoulders at any rate, I don't trust that stuff.
If I were you I'd be tempted to wash it all the time if it feels and looks better! But you're right not to, because it's better not to overdo it, isn't it? Gets greasier faster.
It's good to keep your hair on it's toes...that's why I like the anarchist approach.
Mostly Clairol Herbal Essences Honey, and would use the conditioner too if I could get it. Thanks, your query has reminded me to contact the company and ask why the conditioner has been impossible to find recently.
Not tempted to wash it all the time because that just dries out the scalp.
If I remember I repeat the shampoo and rinse thoroughly before using conditioner and my hair does seem to stay cleaner a bit longer. I used dry shampoo yesterday because I ran out of time in the morning but I'm not a fan of it because I don't like the smell.
How often do you wash/ shampoo your hair?

I put "no rules" cos I'm a freakin anarchist, man. But it works out to about once every 4-6 days. Short, fairly thin wavy.

Ha ha another Anarchist here: I wash my hair when it's dirty, which is usually about every 3rd day
