My friends tend to either host or go to a lot of parties, at least twice a month. I never go to any of them just because I'm not social and I'm not a party person.
Probably should have differentiated, on the poll, between people that don't go to parties because they don't want to, and people that don't go to parties because they can't (not invited, too busy, too poor [for hosting], etc). I'll bet at least half the people that voted "Never" would go out more often if they had the opportunity.
