How often do you air out your bedroom?

I live in Las Vegas so the air is really dry and I don't have to worry about mold. It's quite the opposite and I really need to be using a humidifier! However, when it's chilly in the fall and winter I like to open the windows. Right now I can't open the windows because in April there's too much wind and pollen in the air and not enough humidity which is a recipe for terrible sinus headaches, migraines and infections for me. One morning las week after the wind was howling all night my car was completely covered in pollen. It looked like a dusting of yellow cocaine!
I don't ever intentionally air out my bedroom, but I do open the window most days (except when it's cold outside) and leave it open all day.
Since I now live in a house with a climate control and ventilation system, I'll probably stop doing this just set the thermostat at a comfortable temperature and leave the window closed.
I never consciously think "I shall now open my windows to rid the room of mold" but I have my door and windows open frequently, especially in the warm months. And my room is never wet so I have nothing to worry about in that department. It's always pretty airy and sweet smelling.
