If this person is inconsiderate and reckless and they are unwilling to do for themselves then that is basically spelling out "your effort will probably harm the situation more than help it, your help will not do much for them and it will probably come to bite you in the ass". Sorry, but helping someone that does not want to change is a stupid, futile effort.
Sorry folks, but I'm thinking realistically here. If this fool is inconsiderate and reckless, chances are, that they are the ones that got themselves into this mess to begin with and I'm not going to step in so this person doesn't have to take responsibility. I have seen this before. It never ends well for the good soul.
