A 5'4" woman weighing 130 pounds has a BMI of 22.2, which is almost exactly in the middle of the "healthy" range.

If you genuinely believe you're "huge", you have serious body-image issues.

The votes are a joke, because people cannot resist when someone is as wrong as you about something like this.

There is a limit to when fat becomes visible, let alone detrimental to your appearance, and hun, you are FAR below it.

The votes are full of shit.

You don't need to lose weight at all.

No, the trolls voted for you.

What Boojum said is correct, you are not "huge" and the fucking idiot trolls have just reinforced your body-image issues. Don't listen to them, okay?

Ayo, i put 20-25 because i put the normal weight for that height into google (which OP could have just as easily done if this wasn't an attention seeking post) Since I can't imagine in, and it's the lowest BMI while still being in normal range, which is what I am also for my height and personally prefer for myself. I Know that 130 is not "huge" so I assumed this OP was just looking for validation by exaggerating, validation denied. Getting annoyed by these kinda posts "Im at the upper range of normal for my size, omg im so fat right guyz?!"

120 lbs would be more normal for a woman of 5'5" with a medium frame, and muscle mass.

Validating a person's belief that she is in need of losing weight by referencing an exaggeratedly small size is probably not helpful to a person who already has issues around weight.

if they are 130 at 5'4 no offense but I don't think they have issues with weight. and if they have to ask by poll on IIN how much weight to lose they probably aren't going to do anything at all. losing 20-25 normally would take like 2 years if done right, while this poll most likely was put up spur of the moment and will be forgetton just as quickly.

You should work out to make yourself fell good and choose a healthy diet. Whether you lose 4, 14, or 40 pounds it should not matter to anyone else but you or your loved ones.

Ive never seen you, but you dont sound huge to me at all by the measures youve given. In fact, i would probably find you very appealing. Im not a big fan, although i do appreciate them, of the "perfect thin bodied". I love regular people with curves. To me that is desireable.

Again, if you are going to workout, do it for you. You will get much better results and may come to find out that you actually enjoy doing it.

You don't need to lose weight, you're already healthy and not huge at all. However if you really want to get thinner, you could drop 5-15 pounds. Under that, it would be unhealthy.

None. A lot of people work out and don't lose weight because they gain muscle, but end up looking better.
Start doing some squats girl and throw that scale away.

How much weight you should lose, and whether, or not you should even lose weight at all would depend on what size frame you have, and how much muscle mass you have.

Listen to Boogjum, and Charli's suggestions!
