I've no idea. We don't have it here. My instinct says that it's a pint of grain or somesuch but I don't know why it would be different. Hmm, unless it's because grain has air gaps between it so it's to compensate for that. If I'm right, I'm giving myself three gold stars for this.

What's a dry pint when liquid is envolved? It sounds like an empty mason jar ( we use those in the US ) That makes me thirsty!!!
