How I feel about this whole issue depends on who I'm texting with and what we're texting about. If one person in particular is consistently poor at responding to phone calls, text messages, emails and letters I tend to not take that person seriously at all.
Unfortunately I have, at times been, the flaky person I've described above. I'm not proud of it, but no one's perfect. I guess I will have to add flaky procrastinator to my list of character defects. Blarg.
:-(
What if that person not only did not respond to your texts, but also asks you a question without answering your question? Don't you feel like you've been slapped?
Well, unless it's a employer or educator I would tend to see that kind of one sided communication as a reason for me to ignore said person.
I guess you could inform the person that you won't be responding to any of their queries until he or she answers your question or questions if you asked first. Don't budge when you set boundaries with people especially if they're high strung, entitled little narcissists.
Sadly, we train many people how to treat us. Some people have a nasty habit of testing us to see how far we can be pushed. Often times the boundaries we have to set with some people are not conducive to friendship.
How much does it bother you when someone doesn't respond to your texts

P.S. Yes, I do feel like I've been slapped. People like that drain me then leave me feeling used and abandoned.
