When I did use Facebook, I treated it as a soundboard for ideas and posting my latest adventures. There were only a couple of friends I talked to.
I find that if something can be done naturally, it should be. Using a keyboard to discuss intimate things with your neighbor seems silly to me when you could just walk next door and have the conversation.
In many ways the internet in general has cheapened our humanity.
