29 People "shit their pants" over a "scary figure" that was just talked about but never even made an appearence, wow you guys should watch the original exorcist sometimes, Reagan spidercrawling down the stairs would terrify you beyond belief if the big bad Blair witch scurred ya silly...pfft.

I loved it. The way it was filmed and the naturalistic style of the whole thing was compelling.
In my opinion, horror films shouldn't only be judged by how scary they are. The Blair Witch Project was the precursor to the Paranormal Activity franchise, REC, even Cloverfield, and did something that hadn't been done for a long time (since Cannibal Holocaust perhaps).
On topic though, it made me feel generally unnerved throughout. It was more disturbing than scary. I did not shit myself.
The ending is brilliant...

This movie pissed me off!
Why?
What I cannot understand is why in the HELL no one on the production staff could have supplied those people with a damn tripod! I get motion sickness rather easily and the way the camera shook for all of the movie was enough to make me dizzy and give me vertigo. It got to a point that I was becoming nauseous from it. My friend said it is "avant garde" and "raw" I just thought it sucked.Comment Hidden ( show ) -

I remember watching it when I was 13, clinging onto the girl I fancied at the time and giving the birthday girl [whose house we were round a black eye because I elbowed her when I jumped XD.
I can't remember if I actually found it as scary as I was making it out to be, though.
Come to think of it, I never got to see the attraction of it .. oh well.
