How much beer can you drink before you get really drunk?

Could you also write about how much you weigh and what the bottle size is like, if there is a difference to the normal bottles?

We have 0.33 litre and 0.5 litre bottles. Depending on where I go, the beer is like slightly diluted. In my experience, it's more alcoholic in Germany than at my uncle's in the West and tastes stronger somehow.

I weigh about 205 pounds with only 18 per cent of fat and can now drink my four to six litres of beer from Germany before I notice much of anything. A while ago I was already drunk after three mugs of beer. That's like 1,5 litres if I remember correctly.

Nothing compared to now. But I like to drink and the drunkness that comes with it. How's it with you? How much can you drink before you get drunk?

6-8 4
4-6 4
8-10 2
2-4 4
10-12 5

Ask your friends and family, the people you hang with! I bet they have a different opinion of how much you can drink before you're drunk.

It kind of depends on your life style or stage.

Me I'm definitely a light weight now, a couple beers and I'm ready for a nap. I do like my sangria and wine, could sip them all day. I don't do much hard stuff any more but when I do it's gin or rum mainly.

By life stage I mean there was a time I drank everyday partied a lot and could drink beer till I was full and not feel real drunk. I would drink gin or rum all night and not really feel drunk.
Legally if I had been tested I'm sure I could have been close to death as far as blood/alcohol percentage. Enough near misses I considered myself lucky and don't find a need for that life style anymore I want to live and enjoy everyday, as well as remember I enjoyed it.

I don't drink now but when I used to,
First it was 750ml (one big bottle) with 8.8% alcohol is my level.
Slowly it increases to 1500ml (two bottles) same alcohol level.
Then I reduce because it's not going well. Within a year I reduce my 1500ml with 8.8% alcohol. To 300ml with 4.4% alcohol and I still get drunk with small amount then I just quit.
    My weight is 65kg

I'm 140 pounds and when I used to drink regularly it would take at least 4 beers before I would feel anything and i'd start to black out after 12 or so

10-12 or any more than that could probably kill you.

    • When I work out what I can tolerate, it should be able to blow me away, but it doesn't. I drink leisurely for hours and even then the online promille calculators calculate over 3 promille, which should be life-threatening. It's probably the time I take and my metabolism or something.

    • I agree with you about the liqueur. However, I must honestly admit that I am a little disappointed in myself. Liqueur used to be no problem at all, but now I get extremely nauseous after just one bottle of liqueur, and that's only because of the taste and possibly colouring agents. Whisky is fine again. I just can't figure it out. But it doesn't mither me much.

        • The sugar may be a reason too I don't like it. I never cared to contemplate too much about it.
What kinds of whisky do you like? I don't really mind if it's a single or not. Like 'em all.

    • Ah yes, bars. I prefer pubs for my binge drinking, but bars have something too.

The drinks mainly. Pubs usually don't have many non-alcoholic drinks, bars usually have a wider variety(Sodas, coffee, tea, milk, etc) and bars also usually have more of a variety of food.
