How many years have you been ahead/behind in school?

At maximum, for primary & high school, and compared to others of your age, in your country. i.e. If you were put forward one year for the last 3 years of high school, and on target for the rest, answer 1 year ahead.

  • When I moved back to the US from France, they put me back a year, even though I had learned everything that the next two years were teaching.
So I skipped 7th and 8th grades to catch up with my age group, but that didn't work out very well, because that was all stuff I hadn't learned in France.
    Stupid school system.

  • I was never held back but in my 12th grade year, they were going to put me back into the 9th since I'm not good at math.

  • I was behind in math, reading, and writing as a child. I was ahead in music classes though. Funny because I was not good at reading music. Still bad at it today.
