I have shoulder length thick afro hair. I used to wash my hair everyday (germophobe) but then i contracted a scalp problem as my scalp was never able to dry properly and my hair started to fall out. Now i wash twice a week cause i hate feeling like my hair is dirty and i use product daily.
Washing too much can lead to scalp infections if the scalp isn't dry, as long as your hair is clean, it keep doing what feels right
