It took almost a full year to heal (I noticed all the pain / minor discharge stopped completely after about ten months). Maybe it differs from person to person, but yeah. The healing process was abnormally long. Well, it was probably because it kept knocking into things. Which is another thing. It seemed to always be in the way. My hair would get caught on it, my shirts..
If you do get it pierced though, I recommend asking the piercer to put in a bar that opens from the front only. I had one that opened from the front and back and it was a nightmare. The ball in the back would never tighten all the way and fell into my ear a few times. Once in the middle of the night when I was sleeping, once when I was cleaning it, and once when I was sitting there doing absolutely nothing. Scary situations.
How many piercings do you have? (ears only)

Two in each lobe. Right tragus is pierced. I love it and don't regret it, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to get it.
I want more holes and maybe a double helix.

Aren't your current holes satisfying enough?

Hmm, are they satisfying enough? Perhaps. But I could always use some more ;}

I can help you with that.
You want them anywhere specific? or shall I just get poking?

If I took the time to actually think it through, the spontaneity factor would be gone...just start poking.
why wouldnt you recommend a tragus piercing?
