How many people only have a bath in their house - no shower?

I have a bath/shower. I think its more common to have only a bathtub in older homes.

You should definitely get a shower, it's much better for a multitude of reasons.

Yeah but I always had a thing that you could put on the faucet so you could have a shower. That's like, early 1900's technology. Shit, it's not that complicated. I've taken hot showers using a bucket of water set out in the sun.

I think there's an adapter thing you can buy to convert your bath to a shower. Ask at Home Depot!

My shower doesn't work, never has and to be honest I'd rather relax in the bath than have a shower anyway, And it's not a crappy poll maby i'm just boring but I like polls about everyday things like this :)

I don't like baths because I have an old cruddy bath/shower and I never feel the tub is clean enough. I feel like sitting in a bath is gross because youre soaking in dirty water. My cat sleeps in the tub so his fur gets in there...even if I just cleaned the tub and took a bath to relax, I always rinse off with the shower after. I know a lot of people in Europe only have tubs though .

When I was a child, our family home only had one bathroom upstairs with a bath tub - no shower. There were times that we needed to share the bathroom. Being the youngest, there were many times that I had to pee while mom, sis, or dad was in the bath tub. Often, the others would need to use the toilet when I was taking a bath. We didn't think anything of it when I was little, but when I reached 11 or 12, my sister (older) started to not like me coming into the bathroom to pee while she was in the bath tub. It never mattered to me; I just needed to pee.

We only have a shower.

We have two bathrooms in my house but the basement bathroom is for the family in the basement. The shower was broken down there and now it works. But its for that family downstairs so technically yes I only have a bath in my section of the house. I probably have never taken a shower in the house that I live in now and I have lived here off and on for about 14 years? Roughly... We bought a fake shower piece that you can hook up to the tub and take a pretend shower with. I mean its pretty cool and I prefer it over a real shower becuz I have afro-texture hair that will bush up if the bathroom gets to hot and to steamy. I use to hate the fact that we didn't have a shower and now I don't mind it. I take hot tea tree baths every day now and I really love it. I don't even care for showers anymore esp not with my hair type LOL.

Me too:)! I wish we had a shower because I feel guilty about how much water gets used, but my mam's never got round to getting one. I don't think it's very common, though, because every time it's been mentioned in real life people find it really surprising for some reason.

I have bathtub with shower but I always take a bath because it's uncomfortable to stand in bathtub.
