Nine, if you count countries I've been driven through on the way to another country and countries I've only been in the airport of. If you don't count that, then seven. More than that if you count the separate countries that make up the UK, but I usually don't.

Yeah that one is too easy, cos you could include Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man as separate countries too.
