    Frequent hugging means you have friends; it's something people just instinctively do. If it's appropriate, I have to hug people an hour or two after I meet them, either to make them comfortable or to express appreciation for a good conversation or some shit.

      People hugging me for any reason other than an extremely emotional conversation makes me feel a little bit creeped out and my personal space invaded, personally.

        Like I said, only when it's appropriate. Most people can tell when it's okay to go in for a light hug.
