        If they were a friend, I'd have to see them again afterwards. If the experience was disastrous and embarrassing (which is as likely as not), I'd want to be able to close that chapter of my life and move on. I'd be more comfortable with a stranger because I'd be able to never see them again if I wanted to. As a secondary reason... I never really sexualise my friends or feel attracted to them (if I'm good friends with someone I just stop seeing them that way), and I wouldn't want to do anything sexual with someone I wasn't attracted to.
