The hardest difficulty in DOOM is Nightmare.
It took me a whole year to beat the game on Nightmare.
The game devs say it's supposed to be played like that.
My husband did it in a couple of weeks, just playing for a couple of hours each evening after the kids went to bed. He's a an absolute champ.
I can't play the game for shit. I'd probably not complete it on nightmare mode, even in a year.
