I think an issue like that would become insignificant to me in the afterlife. Assuming I transcend into a more wise and knowledgeable spiritual being, the only thing that would weigh heavily on me would be the harsh reactions toward the spouse from his associates. My spirit might actually approve of the replacement if she helps with his healing.
As for my current state of mind, it seems a bit tacky for a widow/widower to move on sexually in less than a 6 months to a year. It would probably take me at least a year for me to be with someone else... Maybe sooner if there is a situation in which I've been close to someone who I had emotional/sexual tension with because shit happens when you're grieving, I assume. But I wouldn't put myself out there for romance, I'm sure it would be the last thing on my mind... Unless grieving happens to make me horny, what with sex being a stress reliever... Or I could lose my sex drive altogether, fearing that I'd be watched by his ghost.
