Depends how you view sex. Obviously you should not do it until you are ready, but what do you think about when you think about sex? Is it really important to you? If so then you might be more wary about it. Personally I do not see sex as the ultimate expression of a romantic relationship, and thus I would not draw out the sexual tension for a long period of time. 2-3 months is long enough for me.
I always have sex on the first night as I am not in a relationship so I have to grab it while I can ( it's my body and I can use it and abuse it in anyway I please) It is really a personal choice and whatever the individual feels comfortable with, and on another note as for men claiming they lose respect for a women after a one night stand, it is strange that they do not complain at the time. Just wait until you are ready as it is your body so therefore your choice xx
what i think is normal:
if you are a guy - the second you see an opportunity
if you are a girl - hold out till you feel it's right/ the person it right and so one.
too soon or too late isn't good.
in some way it's a game, and depending one how it's played sets what kind of relation shit it will end up to be and how long it lasts.
How long should you wait to eat? What's normal? When your slightly hungry or starving on all fours? Probably neither... Somewhere in between two extremes. When you can wait no longer, then maybe it's time. I am not an advocate of waiting til marriage for sex. Just an empty ideal. I like doing what works, and sex before marriage gives you more insight to each others personalities, some of which would save you from marrying an incompatible person. Then divorce would be the only option
