How long has your ipod lasted?

dude even when i use my ipod to masturbate to porn almost daily it has lasted for 3+ years.

they last it's just they feel so damn ancient after a year. Makes you wanna upgrade.

I've had an iPod 2nd generation for 3 years and nothing is wrong with it, besides the fact that it is really out of date, so I bought the newest one and I love it :)

I've had mine since the winter of the year that the first Ipod touch came out. Its so reliable expect for its strangeness with its battery life. O_O

I think 5-6 years. I still have it. Wonderfull piece of technology. Before I got my Ipod. I had three other mp3 players. All died within a year. Ipod 6th gen. FTW!!! Best mp3 player ever!

I've had my ipod touch for two years and its been through some shit. And when I stripped my car down I found an ipod nano that works perfectly under the seats. I love you ipod. My zune broke after two months. Fucking zune....

I got my ipod touch 11 months ago and it's never shown any signs of damage, even though I've dropped it on paving stones once (you should always wear headphones even when you're not listening to it).

I have an 80 gig classic that I bought almost 4 years ago. I have it connected to the Sync system in my Ford and it rarely leaves my car. I use it every time I drive and have never had problems.

I've only had one MP3 player. It was a wristwatch that doubled as a player. It broke within thirty minutes of it arriving.

I don't like not being able to hear when I'm outside so I don't think I'll buy another.

I still have my ancient one of three years ago. I never use it anymore because the memory is all taken and it sucks compared to the one I have now (which will have it's first birthday in a month), but I still have it damn it!

I always get made fun of for this. My ipods have an unfortunate fate once I get them. 3 have been stolen. I actually managed to slam one of them in the car door. My current one, well, I had ointment for my legs where my ipod rests. It gets hot in the summer and the ointment leaked onto the ipod into the screen and all. I still use it though. I refuse to buy another one.

I had one that lasted from 2005-2009 then I bought one around 2009 and still have it...I feel its not going to last very long because it tends to get Alzheimers

I don't have an Ipod, I have an iriver, that had color and other features long before the ipod. so far its going on 7 years.

I had one for about a year and a half til it got cooked in my glove compartment one summer :(

I have the 2nd gen Nano that came out in like.. '05 or '06. So a long time. Though it wasn't originally mine until about 2 years ago. It's still old as fuck and still works almost perfect. Only thing wrong is that sometimes it takes a bit to turn off. Gotta fiddle with it to get the button to stay down until it shuts down.

What do you mean lasted? I did not realize MP3 stopped working. I know I have lost a few of mine but it wasnt becuase they stopped working. Fuck you idiots do not know how to take care of electronics at all do you.

Here is some advice stop buying them. You obliviously do not know how to take care of your shit. I don't see why you Iwear users buy this overpriced shit when you have no idea how to take care of it.

Why not buy something cheap? That way when it dies you will be like "Well it didnt cost anything so oh wont cost much to get it replaced". I had my Game boy SP since the stupid thing came out. That was in 2004 and that shit still works. That was 9 years ago. That is how you take care of electronics you idiots!
