How long do you usually sleep per 24 hours?

  • Depends on the time of year. The days are effectively about nineteen hours long here now (in terms of light, as opposed to sunrise/sunset; it was still not properly dark at 11pm yesterday) and in the five hours of darkness, I'm sleeping three to four of them.

    In winter, I'll average just under six, but the actuality on any given day will be anywhere from zero to nine.

      • Well, there's that. Plus I don't sleep well in heat and humidity. And then I'm an insomniac as well.

        Sleep and I are acquainted, but we're not exactly bosom buddies. :)
