Depends on the menu and how much effort I'm willing to put in. Some weekends I cook all day!

I cook a lot, but I take days off too. I like leftovers. I try to plan food out efficiently. I'm also really into canning so I take entire days canning shit up but then when I'm feeling lazy I can just open a few jars and have a meal done super easy.

Average dinner from scratch takes about 45 minutes, I guess.

At most an hour. I cook for myself and myself only so I try to limit what I cook to simple things.

I often spend a long time cooking something, but then will have plenty of leftovers to make other days quick.

E.g if I'm making mashed potatoes I'll just do a whole sack of potatoes. That way I've got about 4 extra meals worth of mashed potato that I can freeze for a later date. I do the same with curry, chilli and sauces.

Half an hour. Mostly prefabricated shit, such as Meatballs.

My wife takes care of the cooking. I take care of the yard and get the money.

I just cook and spend whatever minute and hour I have while I learn from my favorite chefs.

5 to 8 minutes. I cook with the stove/oven on max heat to make it faster.

Lately I've been subsisting on mostly protein shakes, because I'm lazy, and want to lose some weight. I haven't really felt much like cooking, but I especially don't like it when other people ask me to cook for them. I remember a couple years back I was walking out of the main post office here in downtown Dover on a chilly November day, and some raggedy man asked me if he could come to my house for Thanksgiving, I told him that I don't cook. He was probably just being sassy, but I don't like it when people assume that I would cook for them.

That's kind of weird. I have to wonder if he would have asked a man the same question.

I think he was probably hitting on me. 🤢🤮 When I told him I don't cook he sad he was only joking, but I think he was trying to save face.

Yeah. They're always "only joking". It's your fault for taking everything so seriously and not smiling enough...

I have young daughters. I'm sure that nothing will have changed when they come of age.

It's so disrespectful the way some men think they have they to push themselves, and they're wants on women! 😠

Love, light, and respect to you! 🤗
