I wasn't talking about distance. I was talking about the strength of the bond. You can't have many close friends. That's impossible. Genuine friendship is very hard to achieve and people who say they have many friends are not accurate in expressing this fact.
You can't have a large circle of friends. That's a foolish belief and a misunderstanding of the nature of friendship and its separation from other types of connections.
