It's as evil as it is for a married man to cheat. Just thought I'd add that in, in case you were insinutating that it wasn't as evil, by specifying 'woman' in the question.

    10.

When you commit to a marriage, you have to be faithful to your significant other! At least that's how my parents taught me, so I can be a civilized and honest human being.

Cheating is the scummiest and most cowardly thing you can do. A bit of revenge is always in order.
If you can't deal with the concept of marriage, don't bait people into marrying you. Go to swing parties and other garbage and remember karma's a bitch.

  • I don't care if you're married or not, if you cheat on your partner be it man or woman you're a scumbag.

This to me seems like the original poster is a woman herself who is thinking of cheating on her husband. We should all be careful when giving answers because she's most likely scheming to find loopholes in what's being said as well as getting confirmation that what she's about to do is acceptable.

It's not acceptable to cheat on your partner in any context unless you are both polyamorous. If you don't like your husband, file for divorce.

Adultery is a mortal sin, resulting in banishment to Hell unless forgiven by a priest.

a very close approximation exists upon the astral realms that you will find yourself in at some point, if not after death.

Although it alters drastically once you stop freaking out, it’s very frightening for people who are rigid in their beliefs to accept. Meaning you will have a hard time in that area of the void.

If you go there, don't say I didn't warn you.

I'd say it depends on context

    - 1 if she's in an open marriage or some kind of consensual dynamic with her husband (not really cheating)

    - 3 if she's in a childless marriage to a cheating husband

    - 5 if she's in a childless marriage to a faithful husband

    - 7 if she has children and a faithful husband

It depends where you are in your life. I've been cheated on and it was awful. I don't think I think about relationships in the way I used to back then, though. Everything seemed clear. Right and wrong, black and white. Not so much any more. Every situation is different and I don't think there's a single answer which applies to every person in every situation. Life just isn't that simple.

Well, it's a 10. There is no in-between. If you cheat, guy or girl, you're a loser. If you feel the need to fuck someone else at least have the moral decency to leave your current relationship.

I think 10 is reserved for murder, rape, pedo stuff. Id honestly rate it around 3 or 4. Its under robbery, and bullying which is about a 5 or 6. Cheating is down there with snitching or stealing so around 3 id say.

Depends on a lot. Im not going to rate it but if shes cheating cause shes selfish or a slut thats worse than if she is lonely and her husband isnt nice to her. Or if she happened to re meet someone from the past. Cheating for spite is kinda bad unless he cheated first...its never good is what im getting at.

You have to look at why it happened and in what context.

Sometimes people make mistakes and get caught up in the moment and do something that they had not thought through (happens a fair amount to people under 30). They regret it once they realize the situation.

Sometimes people take medications or other drugs or substances that changes their behavior... and they aren't even that conscious of what they are doing or the effects.

Others plan on doing something even though they know the potential consequences.

The first 2 cases are not specifically evil if dealt with honestly and with care for the other partner.

The 3rd case I would classify as evil.

Note: that in the case of an agreement for some kind of open relationship: it's not cheating unless they vary from the agreed upon rules for other relationships. A very substantive amount of evidence show that open relationships without rules does not work long term; and those that have rules and limitations can work well for the life of the partners. There are books out there on the issues that need to be considered when setting up rules for such relationships.
