There are many different types of intelligences. I have come across many people in life that are extremely brilliant with exceptional knowledge about one thing and others that know a little about everything. I had the privilege of taking care of an autistic child that couldn't say much but was gifted with playing the piano. This child was never taught how, it was just discovered when a keyboard was placed in front of them. There are those who are mathematicians that can see things in numbers that others cannot. To me I cannot understand who would care about WHY or even HOW X=2+3.. But people have to learn Algebra to graduate or pass a GED so it is what it is. Basically you telling someone they are stupid isn't doing you any good. Maybe they act that way on purpose...maybe they are lacking in knowledge about the things that you know. Either way even if you are incredibly bright it would be a waste to be the same way...meaning pointing out stupidity to people that you claim to be stupid. Honestly I know very very intelligent people that ACT stupid because they are smart enough to know that if they play the part of stupid "smart" people will do the work for them. And guess what? They actually do! So who is smarter? No human has superior knowledge because that would be a claim to know everything, and nobody does. If you are calling these people stupid or want to there may be a reason they are acting or being this way. Maybe they just think you are stupid and dumb down things so you will understand. Maybe they think you are attractive and want to feel rescued by your talent for being smart. Maybe they feel they are stupid because they have been told that ALL their life and therefore believe it and act it. You just never know! Just be sure you do not tell a psychopath they are stupid and need to read up on things because they may just uncaringly kill everything you love. Also be careful not to tell someone in a power of position that or you may get fired. Also make sure you are extremely careful about hurting someone because your comment or opinion because it may just be the one that is " the straw that breaks the camels back" so to speak and they kill them self.
