I wet the toothbrush, put on the SLS and fluoride free toothpaste. Then I open a small jar containing pearl powder and I dip the wet brush with paste in there. The pearl powder polishes my teeth and remineralizes them because it's calcium carbonate. 80s the toothpaste "pearl drops" contained micronized pearl powder.

Yep, don't brush my teeth with fluoride either. Wet my toothbrush with hot water to kill the germs. Then put toothpaste on it, then put under water again to soften the toothpaste. Brush then spit, wash off toothbrush, then swish water around my mouth and spit out until no more toothpaste is coming out of mouth.
I always wet the toothbrush, I don't always use toothpaste though. It's actually not necessary at all if you are brushing correctly
I never really thought about this before. But I selected the first choice on your list. but sometimes I do the second choice too. just depends.
