How do you like to relax before falling asleep?

  • My relaxation routine for the best night's sleep is pretty finely tuned. I turn off all my appliances - my phone etc. I get a glass of milk (cold). I drink it slowly in the living room whilst watching an episode or two of a TV show, preferably on a real TV rather than my laptop, with the lights dimmed by not totally off. My perfect pre-bed viewing is a light-hearted British sitcom, something like Alan Partridge or The Office or the IT Crowd or Gavin and Stacey. I have a list which I'm working through. When I've watched about half an hour I turn everything off and go to bed.
