Start thinking on concepts (cars, boats, planes...) . I like thinking on vehicle concepts, sketching them in my head. Thinking through all the details, imagining the finished product. That usually puts me to sleep quickly.
As for cuddling with my girlfriend. No, that puts me in the mood for love... Sleep would be the last thing on my mind XD
